In 2009, the 35-year-old actor starred alongside Emma Stone in the independent comedy-drama that he cowrote with Michele Mulroney entitled Paper Man. Shortly after that, he and Stone started dating.
Their relationship would go on to last about two years until she started filming The Amazing Spider-Man, and the rest, as they say, is history. That’s pretty much around the time when Stone and Culkin called it quits, and she started dating Andrew Garfield.
Since then, Culkin has been able to revive his career and has worked on many film and television projects. He married his wife, Jazz Charton, in 2013.

Everyone has that one ex that seems to be the one that got away; the one that you always seem to go back to, for one reason or another. And for Emma Stone, it seems Andrew Garfield was that person.
The pair started dating while they were filming The Amazing Spider-Man. For several years after that, they were on-and-off, always giving fans a brief glimmer of hope that the next time they got back together would be permanent.

It’s unknown whether they’re still together, as their last known public sighting was on February 5 of this year. Since then, Emma has also been spotted with Jennifer Anniston’s ex-husband, Justin Theroux, which has sparked rumors that they’re now an item!

The two actors are currently starring in a Netflix show called Maniac together. They were seen enjoying a late-night sushi dinner earlier this month, presumably after a full day of shooting.

When asked to confirm whether Stone and Theroux are an exclusive couple, their close mutual friend, Jonathan Van Ness (one of the stars of the Queer Eye revival on Netflix), vehemently denied those rumors,
Van Ness stated, “They’re friends. We’re all friends. Men and women can be friends and it can just be friendly.”
